Our History:

Manchester University Enterprise Society was founded by Mr Henry Sicong Li. It was set up to create a community of future business and community leaders. There were similar societies set up before but they all failed after one year of operation. So this time, the founder of the society have put sustainability of the society as a top priority by focusing on the uniqueness of the activities and working with other experienced organizations.

This organisation currently has 1200 members. We organise events range from Friday conversation club taking place once a week to large scale Speakers Series and workshops. We also run numerous competitions and provide pre-seed/seed stage. funding

We are currently working with both local and national organisations across all its activities and events. Our main working partners are Manchester Enterprise Centre, National Association of University Entrepreneurs, Manchester Business School MBA entrepreneurship club, Make Your Mark and NCGE (National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship).

Manchester University Entrepreneurs is a student organisation part of University of Manchester Students’ Union, UK’s largest Students’ Union. We are here to build future business and community leaders through environmental sustainable leadership practices.

A major aim of Manchester University Enterprise Society is to be a team of which it is great fun to be part of as well as encouraging learning by doing. We encourage our members to be enthusiastic, determined individuals who want to work in a team to really make a difference in personal goal findings, entrepreneurship and career development.

We are here to develop future business and community leaders through sustainable entrepreneurship practices. We bridge our university students between who we are and who we ought to become. We are always unique, ambitious and fun, focusing on students to create economic opportunities to others through mentoring, networking, workshops and competition.
